"About citizens who did not pass compulsory military service in violation of the established order"

The draft law on Amending the RA Law "On Citizens Who Have Not Passed Compulsory Military Service in Violation of the Defined Procedure" has been put into circulation in the National Assembly.

The bill proposes to enlarge, in particular, its operation and include the period from 1992 to autumn drafting until 31 December 2018.
This means that if the bill is adopted, by paying a fixed sum, they will have the opportunity to stop the criminal prosecution against those citizens who abstained from compulsory military service recruitment from the autumn of 1992 up to December 31, 2018, and who turned 27 year old between that period or they acquired grounds for exemption from compulsory military service accordingly.
It should be mentioned that the draft law does not provide amendment to the law itself, defining the deadline, which means that in case of its adoption, all citizens wishing to enjoy the legitimate opportunity should apply by December 31, 2019.
Finally, it should be noted that, according to the current regulations, the operation of the law covers only the period from autumn 1992 to December 1, 2017.
